Our Terms of Conditions

Our Guarantee

Bridge is committed to delivering translations of the highest quality, on time.

  • If you are not satisfied with a project, we will provide a revised version at no additional cost.
  • If the revised version remains unsatisfactory, you may request a partial or full reimbursement.
  • In cases where delivery is delayed by more than one-third of the agreed timeline (33%), and the delay is solely attributable to Bridge, reimbursement of up to 100% of the project cost will be provided.

General Sales Conditions

  • All translation requests must be accompanied by a formal order confirming the agreed price. Orders may be submitted via email, fax, or regular mail.
  • Technical documents must include relevant reference materials, diagrams, or supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Translation costs are calculated based on the word count of the source language unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • If a client cancels an order:
    • Completed work will be billed at 100%.
    • Work in progress will be billed at 50%.
  • Invoices must be settled within five business days of issuance. Late payments may result in suspension of ongoing projects and immediate collection of outstanding amounts, including recovery costs.
  • Bridge is not liable for stylistic preferences in translations, particularly for promotional or advertising material, unless explicitly requested. Liability is limited to the invoiced amount.
  • Complaints must be submitted via official email within seven days of delivery, accompanied by the original documents, disputed translations, and a detailed explanation. After this period, translations are deemed accepted.
  • In the event of a valid complaint, Bridge will provide a revised version within one-third of the original timeframe plus one business day. This version will determine any reimbursement, at Bridge's discretion.
  • Bridge is not responsible for delays caused by third-party communication failures (fax, email, carriers).
  • Only written agreements are binding. All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent court. Unauthorized use of unpaid translations constitutes copyright infringement.

Liability

Bridge and its suppliers disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, ownership, or non-infringement. Bridge shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, profits, or usage rights, arising from its services.

Harmful Content Policy

Bridge prioritizes the safety and well-being of its staff and freelance community.

  • We do not accept orders that promote hateful, violent, or derogatory content. Such orders may be cancelled without notice.
  • Clients requesting translations of sensitive or potentially triggering material (e.g., graphic, violent, or medical content) must flag this upon order submission to ensure appropriate handling.
  • Bridge and its clients shall not discriminate against freelancers based on race, ethnicity, religion, political views, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected status.
